PINK JEEP DESERT TOURS
Sedona’s most famous off-road experience, the original adventure that started the company! Explore the high desert terrain in this rugged 4x4 excursion through grand arroyos and learn little known area facts and folklore from your expert Pink Jeep Tours Guide. Choose from 2 or 2 1/2 hour tours.
WILD 2.0 Hour Tour
The Scenic Rim 2 hour is a fully guided tour up Schnebly Hill Road which was built along the historic Munds Wagon trail, the historic wagon trail that connected Sedona to Flagstaff. This is an unmaintained primitive dirt road that is extremely bouncy. The tour begins at the Pink Jeep plaza and drives past the picturesque Tlaquepaque shopping village on the way to the trail. Hit the dirt and travel through the Bear Wallow canyon area of Sedona. Enjoy the beautiful rocks and views of desert vegetation as your guide narrates along the way. The climax of the tour is a stop at Merry Go Round rock, a famous red rock formation that you will actually get to hike up onto with your guide. Up on Merry Go Round you will have elevated views of both the town of Sedona and the red rock formations it is nestled between. Hop back in the jeep and head back down the road, Your guide will continue to narrate the tour as you make your way back down the hill and return to the Pink Jeep Plaza. Schnebly Hill Road is in very poor shape and very bouncy, this tour is not appropriate for anyone seeking a mild experience.

Mild 2.5 Hour Tour
The Ancient Ruin tour is a 2 1/12 hour fully narrated tour that features the Honanki Ruin Site, a Sinagua Indian cliff dwelling. The tour begins on the north end of town and travels through West Sedona where the guide can point out many popular shops and local restaurants. As guests leave town behind and head into the national forest they will get beautiful panoramic views of the red rock formations. The jeep will stop at the base of one of these formations and the guide will walk with guests to an alcove in the cliff containing the Honanki ruin site. There they will spend 45 minutes to an hour on-site with the guide who will talk about the lifestyle of the people who once lived here, point out their artwork, and offer theories as to where they might have gone. The walk is approximately ¾ mile on dirt paths with a few stairs steps throughout.
